A hotel marketing group.

Where

From the US to Myanmar, with several in the UK.

Style

Small, characterful and elegant hotels of less than 50 bedrooms. No members of a chain are accepted and most guests are holidaymakers rather than business people. Two thirds of the hotels are in rural locations. They tend to be family-owned and luxurious in a way which is traditional for the setting. Most guests are holidaymakers rather than business people. One user has objected that not all are equally good and they are expensive. Some he felt were more like glorified b&bs.

Facilities

Some actively discourage children, for example Casa que Canta in Mexico because of its location on top of a cliff, however in general hotels are reported very willing to welcome families. Other properties welcome children and run a children's programme. Examples are Cheeca Lodge in Florida and the Park Hotel Delta at the Swiss end of Lake Maggiore, with its kindergarten.
Details of facilities at individual hotels are available from the reservation service and on the web site, but most offer a baby/child listening service, some have family rooms and will do their best to make well-behaved children welcome.

Prices

£50-£350 per room.

Child Offers

Children sharing will generally be charged for an extra bed or cot, £25-£50, these rates applying variously to 2, 5 and 10 years.
