The five-star Le Meridien Penina on the Algarve because with its own covient tough championship golf course plus children's Penguin Club. There is also a 9-hole academy course which is enjoyable for adults and excellent for children to learn on. Also has a 9-hole resort course which is very playable for all levels of players. The swimming pool is highly rated and half-hourly buses down to the safe Penina beach. Also have three different restaurants. No need to leave the resort. Alternatively the sister hotel the Dona Felipe at Vale do Lobo a minute from the beach, again with a penguin club and with the San Lorenzo, rated by Leisure Link as the finest resort course in Europe with the sea in the background around natural lakes and ponds. Other options also available, including short breaks to France for example to Le Touqet with good beaches and six championship golf courses within a half hour's drive. Again there is a 9-hole course suitable for a family.
