A five-star property and a member of Leading Hotels of the World, describing itself as a hotel and conference centre, and offering golf, health clubs and spa, four restaurants and two swimming pools. The property offers Wentwood Hills as one of three championship courses in the 1,400 acres of grounds. There are 400 rooms and 32 suites.

For Children

The resort is positively family-friendly with children's menus in the restaurants and no restrictions on the hours they dine with their parents. There are children's menus in two restaurants or children can be served smaller portions of the standard menu in the others. For children to 16 years here is a purpose built supervised entertainment centre called the Hideaway Club. Facilities include a cr?che for under fives, soft play area for children up to 8, a gym for 12-16 year-olds and a cinema and computer games room for all ages. Because of the popularity especially at weekends pre-booking is advised. Babysitting can also be arranged. There is a children's pool next to one of the swimming pools, also with a creched and snack bar offering healthy meals. There is a weekly Fit Kids mini aerobics session for 6-11 years. During school holidays, a programme of activities is organised by the health club's staff for the children of both members and guests. In addition to regular weekday swimming lessons, both pools offer supervised swimming for children aged six and over. Arrangements can be made for youngsters to enjoy football, rugby and short tennis, or trips to some of the nearby attractions such as Techniquest, Megabowl and Greenmeadow Community Farm. There are also golf lessons for juniors with a summer holiday programme for 10-18 years with tuition over three days ending in a competition on the fourth day to test skills.. The resort can also provide details of a number of local child-friendly attractions. Children can share a room with parents or have an adjoining room at a reduced price.

There are various deals including golf breaks. Dinner b&b high season per adult might be £103 per night. One child up to the age of 13 can share with parents, paying for meals only. Two children up to 13 staying in their own room pay 75% of the adult rate.
