In a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, in seven acres of grounds on the end of the Hartland Peninsula, with views north to Lundy island and west over the Atlantic. The area is very tranquil and popular for activities like biking, walking, riding, fishing and golf. A recent addition however is a health spa complete with treatment rooms, and a gym. Most popular with families who want to spend time with their children.

Style

Eight spacious cottages in a group of converted Victorian barns refurbished with local stone and slate, with central heating, colour TV, video recorder and hairdryer, dishwasher, microwaves plus for example garlic presses and salad spinners. Prices include central heating, linen, towels, use of the laundry, electricity and logs. There are natural slate floors with scattered rugs. There is garage parking for all cars. Each cottage has an outdoor seating area. The main farmhouse, dating back to the 15th century, is the owners' family home. There are five one-bedroom, two two-bedroom and one three-bedroom cottages, all bedrooms double en suites.

For Children

Cots, high chairs and stairgates are available for babies if required. There is a play area for young children.

Extras

Barbecues are available and there is a boot room for all walking and wet weather gear. The owners can provide extensive information about activities and attractions in the area, also detailed on the web site.

Sample Price

A two-bedroom cottage in high season would be from £740 per week.
