A company started by the Ferragamo family (of fashion fame) with around 180 properties, of which 80 are directly managed by Windows on Tuscany and 33 owned by the Ferragamos. Some are available only for medium to long-term rentals, others for weekly or daily rentals. The minimum stay is generally three days but at most properties there is no fixed start or finish date. Many are in very old palaces in the centre of Florence. In all the Florentine properties in particular, the aim of the design is to blend art, culture and history. However, in all cases they come with air conditioning, satellite TV, phone, kitchen appliances, and in some palazzi, a lift. The policy is to try to meet any client request and a wide range of extras can be arranged including hotel concierge service, car and cycle rental, car with driver rental, catering, cooking lessons, city guided tours, museum reservations, food lover tours, shopping tours.
