In major cities and key leisure destinations such as Goa, Kerala (Cochin), and including some world famous hotels such as in Rajsthan the Rambagh Palace and the Taj Lake Palace at Udaipur. They are classified as luxury hotels, business hotels, palace hotels, resort hotels, garden retreats, cultural centre hotels, and a few uncategorized.
The Taj properties in India Hotels are classified as Taj Leisure Hotels; Taj Palace Hotels, Rajput monuments, particularly opulently decorated; Taj Beach Resort Hotels; Taj Garden Retreats; and Taj Cultural-Centre Hotels in major historic Indian towns. Some of the Taj properties are members of the Leading Hotels of the World group and others of Leading Small Hotels of the World.

Child Facilities

The hotels offer a variety of facilities for children such as cots and high chairs. Babysitting is offered in all Taj Leisure Hotels. Taj Hotels in Goa offer special menus for children. 51 Buckingham Gate in London offers Sony play stations, a safe outdoor courtyard area, babysitting, children's menus, children's DVD library and nannies on request with whom the children can be left overnight.

Taj Hotels, Resorts & Palaces offer a Deluxe Double Room at Taj Exotica, Goa, from £115.78 on a room-only basis excluding tax. Prices at 51 Buckingham Gate are around £350 a night.

Child Prices
