A medieval manor house in a sheltered valley with the old monks' fish ponds, orchards, and a brook. There are suites in the main residence (one designed for guests with mobility problems), plus four lodges, two of which are suitable for families. There is an attractive mosaic-tile swimming pool with terracotta floor and wood lined and beamed roof) plus fitness area. There is also a covered barbecue area, plus access to the 320-acres estate.

Style

Converted 15th century barns, selectively modernised and now ‘the last word in luxury' with elegant kitchens and bathrooms, and large patio areas outside.

Children's beds or cots can be provided on request.

Extras

With prior notice families with under 12s can eat in the main house as long as they finish before 7.30pm. Food is cooked using fresh, local produce, much from their own farm. Staff can also prepare picnics - ideal for use somewhere on the estate.
