Welcomes children and grandchildren with a family choice section at each location, ranging from short walks for little ones to longer walks for older children plus adventure breaks. There are no televisions (unless England is in a World Cup semi-final.) There are also options like Music Making for Families with workshops for fun, plus optional guided walks plus adventure (minimum age 8)and horse riding options (minimum age 12). Style

Family weeks run in the summer though children are always welcome on any other holidays and reservations can direct potential clients to properties where there are already children of similar ages. In this case the families can choose to do walks on their own though there is always a choice of three walks of different standards daily so there should be something suitable.

Minimum Age

None, under 4s always go free and for a nominal fee can hire a papoose or rucksack per day. At some times of the year under 16s pay just £7 per night.

Accommodation

Each of the country houses is different. All rooms are en suite and there are also family rooms. Some have outdoor, some indoor pools, some by a lake or beach. However, they are all in prime walking territory. Included in the price are all meals with a picnic lunch each day, a wide choice of breakfast and three course dinners.

Length of Trips

Short breaks, weekend breaks and weeks and all family breaks are seven nights. All are full board.

A seven-night all-inclusive Family Walking Holiday on the Isle of Wight for £355 per adult, £106.50 per 4-11-year-old sharing with parents. Under 4s are free. Walks are accompanied by a leader plus children's activity leaders.
