Where

Recommended would be the Chateaux and vineyards of the Loire, to the Pont du Gard (through Roman Provence), Dordogne and Tarn, Lot, Spanish Catalan coast, all easier, more challenging to the Cerdagne, Cevennes, Provence, Andalucia and Lake Lucerne (also recommended because there is the option of rack railway rides and linking journeys by cable-car rides and rail - so easy way into the high mountains). There are also high mountain walks. Luggage is transported between overnights.
