Going since 1985, it is a founder member of First Home Exchange Alliance (FHEA), a network of similar established agencies worldwide. The direct swapping of homes for a holiday is the most common member choice but other options, including hospitality exchange, are also available. Home Base Holidays publishes Home Swappers, a bi-monthly email newsletter, providing articles and information on home exchange holidays for members and subscribers new to the idea of swapping homes.
