The main trip to see bears includes an outing in a light aircraft, lunch around a camp fire, various wildlife talks, a tundra buggy tour and a visit to the region where the bears congregate before the ice forms. Accommodation is at a wilderness lodge. Also on view are fox, Arctic hare, wolves, snowy owls and other wildlife.
Focusing more purely on Northern Lights is a four-day stay at an Inn on the Lake, in the Yukon where there are six guest rooms or a three bedroom vacation house or three guest apartments. The building is a natural log structure offering luxury standard accommodation including apartments and facilities like an outdoor hot tub, sauna and fitness centre. Included is a half-day dog-sledding excursion, and a half-day snowmobiling trip.
