Style

Luxury, detail varying markedly with the size of the ship but Mariner offering for example a spa, fitness centre, choice of restaurants, and choice of entertainment.

Accommodation

The Mariner is an all suite ship, all with private balconies. Even the smallest will sleep three, one on a sofa.

For Children

On the Mariner cots and cribs are offered.
Children's Facilities The Mariner will have Sony Playstations, Nintendo and other electronic games for children to use.

Food for Kids

Children's menus are offered on the cruises operating Club Mariner in the Compass Rose (the largest) restaurant.

Babysitting

Not offered currently though passengers may enquire on board about a crew member to watch children.

Children's Activities

Being luxury cruise ships will look after children if you want to take them along (the company reserves the right to limit the number of under threes on any cruise). However, in 2002 introduced a Club Mariner programme on Mariner in the Baltic during July and August and Navigator in Alaska for children 6-11 and 12-17 daily at sea with morning and afternoon sessions. There will be 'supervised activities on board and ashore focusing on the nature, heritage and crafts of the destinations'. Although not finalised, activities will probably include making a picture 'scrap book', making your own TV show, drama class, murder mystery at sea, dance class, interactive movie games, computer class, etc.
