Researches and vets all rides and at least one of the staff is reported to have ridden extensively in each of the area and generally on the horses and routes offered to clients. This means they can offer extensive advice and are happy to discuss options.

Indian sub-continent, Mongolia, Jordan, Africa including north, southern and sub-Saharan, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Romania, New Zealand, North America and Latin America. May also be able to tailormake other destinations on request.

Accommodation and Style

Billed as riding expeditions but ‘we know the value of comfortable accommodation, good food and drink after an exhilarating day in the saddle', though this includes hotels, guest and farm houses, private hacienda or camping from one to five stars.

Type of Riding

Most rides require intermediate standard and some are only for the more experienced. Some are suitable for ‘novice' riders, the term indicating some formal riding tuition and exrience hacking in open country, able to mount and dismount without help, apply basic aids and feeling comfortable and in control on a well behaved horse including short periods of canter.

For Children

Welcomed on trips designated suitable for novice riders.

Sample Price

A South African trip staying at Triple B Ranch, which can be combined with Ant's Nest private game and nature reserve, suitable for all standards from novice up. Prices are £110 per night peak season, £150 per person per night Ant's Nest if three or more are sharing the lodge.
