Accommodation

At Pierre & Vacances designed for families, each with kitchenette with fridge, hot plates, mini ovens or rotisseries and most with dishwashers and balcony or terrace with tables and chairs. Bathrooms have a bath with shower attachment and may have a separate WC.
Maeva Residences are similarly equipped, many with a phone which can be switched through on request.
At Domaines du Soleil linen not supplied but various linen packs for hire on site.
Odalys apartments are relatively new and practical but often in refurbished traditional buildings or built in local style. Kitchens come with two hot plates and fridge, plus items for preparing simple meals. In Cap d'Agde also an oven and dishwasher.
At Sunparks centrally heated houses have a large living room with open fireplace and cable TV with French windows opening onto a patio with garden furniture and a barbecue. Fitted kitchens have four hot plates and fridge (no oven) and a dining area, there is a bathroom and a separate WC. Sizes range from sleeping four to eight and refurbished Superior Homes sleep five in the quietest parts of the centres and in addition to the standard items include a stereo and kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, plus TV in one bedroom. Kids Paradise Houses include a play corner and play house, rocking horse, children's tables and chairs, safety electric sockets, padded table corners and more. The kitchen also has a dishwasher and microwave oven. Some centres have additional types of accommodation.

Facilities

Almost always a pool or multi-pool complexes with water sports. The pools may be heated. Also a bar, restaurant, and sometimes for example a spa.
Sunparks in Belgium all offer slightly different facilities but all include Aquafun - a tropical centre kept at 29?C throughout the year with swimming pools and wild water courses, hydrotubes and water slides, wave making machines, toddler's pools, whirlpools, saunas, sun beds, bars and caf?s. The indoor sports centre offers tennis, squash, volleyball, badminton, basketball, 5 a side soccer and ten pin bowling. Multisport passes including a session of badminton, squash, mini golf, sauna/steam bath, bowling, are £25, £29 high season.

Activities

Golf (extra) with lessons, tennis (usually extra) volleyball, games room, table tennis, archery, bike hire.

For Children

Play areas at all locations, at Pont Royal, Moliet Plage a children's farmyard, Cap Esterel a multimedia point.

Equipment

Pierre & Vacances offers a baby kit of cot or bed barrier, sheets, high chair for around £11.
At Sunparks a cot and high chair is provided at each villa.

Childcare

April to end Oct are baby clubs for 3-35 months at €20 for three hours 30 mins or €60 for 10 hour-package. Babysitting may be available.
At Sunparks there is a Kids Club for children between 4 and 10. Open 10 -12 am &2 - 5 pm every day except Mondays and Fridays.

Children's Activities

Pierre & Vacances Children's clubs at various sites, English-speaking staff guaranteed at Belle Dune, Port du Crouesty, Port Bourgenay, Moliets, Pont Royal and Cap Esterel. Daily ex Sats, extra charge for lunchtime supervision. €15 a session or pre-book six sessions for £48.
Operating year-round is 3-5 years Poolpy Club
Operating in school holidays are 6-8 years, 9-12 years, 13-18 years.
At some properties there is a circus school and outside the village a pony club.
Maeva and Domaines du Soleil French-speaking clubs operate free during the French school holidays for 4-17 years.

Other

At Pierre & Vacances for extra fee beds made up for arrival. Towel packs for hire on site. Free use of hair dryers, irons, ironing boards, vacuums, sewing kits, high chairs and baby cots subject to availability.
At Domaines du Soleil can hire TV and phone line, and purchase a week's cleaning kit.
