Breaks to Iceland include options like snowmobiling, whale watching and dog sledding. There are also specifically Christmas and New Year breaks.

As well as a Santa break (see also) there is a four or five-day trip based round the legend of the Yuletide Lads, sons of the mountain monster, Gryla, reputed to come down to town, one by one, on the 13 days before Christmas - placing a small gift in children's shoes. Visitors meet the lads and Gryla in her cave (outing including lunch - helmet, headlight, overall, and gloves). Other trips include one to see traditional leaf-bread making and there is a Christmas present for every passenger.
