Campsite Kids Clubs do not offer childcare, only child entertainment. This is spelled out by some operators but, as is clear from the listings, reps with childcare qualifications are rare.

Instead there is a tendency to employ university graduates who may or may not know much about children, though some operators point to training programmes for child couriers.

As a result Kids Clubs cannot be relied upon as childcare while you are busy with adult activities. If there is a staff shortage the club may be withdrawn. Furthermore clubs only usually run May to mid-September, sometimes with Easter.

Note also that sessions can be oversubscribed in high season so it's always best to arrive promptly.
