For Families Can arrange holidays for families worldwide and makes a point of highlighting family-friendly resorts in the brochure. Particularly recommended are the Elounda properties in Crete, particularly the Elounda Palace; Forte Village in Sardinia (easy for flights and transfers).
In the Caribbean the Jalousie Hilton in St Lucia or the Bitter End Yacht Club in the British Virgin Islands where there are sailing lessons - great for 8+. In the Middle East highlights properties run by Kerzner International like the Jumeirah Beach in Dubai.
However, for a more personal touch suggests Alfajiri on the Kenyan coast a private house available as an exclusive rental, where there are three nannies in a staff of 14 and food imported by the Italian owners plus toy boxes and gadgets to entertain children.
Can also do malaria free safaris in South Africa. In particular they recommend Ants Nest in the Waterburg region (fly into Johannesburg and then a two-hour drive). This is a private ranch let to one party at a time - great for large or two families staying together and there's the option of game drives, horse riding expeditions including children, walking, picnics, and meals out in the bush. A further, though notably more expensive option is a private, tailormade mobile safari with a professional photographer and film maker as guide.
In Kenya can also do safari options with children's programmes with game trackers and children in their own vehicle learning about tracking game, build a fire in the bush stuff.
Also good might be US ranching holidays in Montana, Wyoming and Idaho, staying on a ranch of varying styles, self-catering or high end smart like Triple Creek, and do cowboy bit during the day, plus visits to Yellowstone, mountain biking, fishing, walking, rafting and more. Parties they have sent out have including grandparents down to toddlers.
In the Indian Ocean they have a wide range of options but particularly highlight the Kerzner group which owns the St Gerain and Le Tousserok have good children's club.
Closer to home the Residence in Tunisia has a children's club during summer holidays, as does Amanjena during the summer holidays.

Members have access to a dedicated services manager who can offer suggestions, advice and help, or answer queries. Cobblers Cove, Barbados has introduced a Children's Arts and Crafts room at the hotel and also offers a special Family Package during the summer. In Jamaica Round Hill offers a Pineapple Kids Club for 3-11 years with activities like nature walks, painting, craft making, water sports and talent shows. There are also tennis classes, reggae lessons, film shows, story telling and dancing. For infants or after hours there is a nanny and baby- sitting service. Both Paradis and Dinarobin in the Seychelles have the Bon Marlin Mini Club, open to children aged 3 - 12 years olds with an array of activities. Ulusaba, located in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, South Africa has the Cub's Club at Rock Lodge. It does not offer a set programme, instead all activities are catered to the children's requirements. Cape Grace, South Africa offers child focused services including story time in the library, books & games whilst at The Andaman in Malaysia, The Playroom is ideal for the under 5's and there is a well equipped Games Room for the older children.
In Europe highlighted are the San Roque with clubs for 2-4 years and 5-11 years and theme days such as Wildlife Day with pony rides, bug hunts and animal mask making plus a Harry Potter Day with a mystery cycling tour, wizard and witch potion making, and hat and cloak making. On the Algarve the Sheraton offers an adventure playground and for an extra cost a children's club for 6 months to 12 years.
In France Royal Parc Evian is suggested for its free mini club for 2-5 years run by nursery nurses and junior club for 6-11 years, along with access to sports like roller blading, sailing and rafting.
In Greece the Sani Asterias Suites on the Halkidiki peninsula have a Babe Watch programme as well as the Melissas kids club. Kuoni is regularly voted the UK's best long-haul operator. Although these awards are not weighted to allow for the sheer size of some of the competitors, it's a good mark of the company's standards and there is both a separate Family Holidays and more markedly up market World Class programme with ‘luxury holidays for the discerning traveller'. Here ‘each property, ship or resort is as individual and unique as our customers are.' There is some cross over between the two programmes.

For Families The family programme focuses on resorts with facilities including babysitting, children's pool, on site medic, gently sloping beach, children's meals, family rooms and inter-connecting rooms, plus children's clubs and/or activity programmes. The World Class programme includes villas with access to hotel services. The Family Holidays brochure also includes a Learn About the World section for each region, with general information on history, culture and climates to help parents and children choose the right destination. The brochure states ‘We wish to create bespoke holidays which offer independence and do not restrict the individuals from choosing their own daily agenda.' Andrew Dunn, the owner and director, and Giles Trotter, the managing director, both have young children who travel with them to many of the resorts featured in the programme and even when the children don't come they can of course pick up on what will and won't work. It is comment that throughout all the brochures the company has highlighted hotels they feel suit travel with children. It is considered that no holiday is not do-able as a family - it's just a question of finding the right version for yours. On the whole the choice of resorts is largely child-friendly as a high percentage of customers are people with families.

Founded in 1977 and offering an expanding range of luxury destinations, but focusing principally on holiday resorts, more than half offering spa facilities. As well as the luxury angle however they offer an ‘extra value' deal at all properties, ranging from a complimentary spa treatment to an extra week's accommodation.

At Lemuria children under 12 fly and stay for free when travelling with parents and sharing their room 1 May - 15 July and September at prices from £1809 per adult sharing on a bed and breakfast basis.
